HotelTime is a comprehensive Property Management System (PMS) designed to streamline operations and enhance guest experiences in the hospitality industry. The implementation of HotelTime at Mount Amanzi marks a significant step toward modernising our operations.
With its intuitive interface, advanced features, and seamless integration with other systems, HotelTime will improve efficiency, simplify daily tasks, and provide better data insights for decision-making. This system supports all aspects of property management, from reservations and check-ins to billing and reporting, ensuring a smoother workflow and a more cohesive experience for both staff and guests.

It is with great honour and pleasure that we officially announce the appointment of Christo Jobert as the Resort Manager of Mount Amanzi.
Christo has consistently demonstrated outstanding commitment, leadership, and a deep understanding of our operational goals and guest service standards. Throughout his time with us, he has proven himself to be a dependable and forward-thinking leader, always willing to go the extra mile in pursuit of excellence. His calm demeanour, hands-on approach, and strong team engagement have made him a natural fit for this role. Mount Amanzi holds a special place in our resort portfolio, and we are confident that under Christo’s stewardship, the property will continue to grow from strength to strength. His vision aligns with our broader mission to elevate guest satisfaction, improve operational efficiency, and foster a culture of excellence on the ground.

My name is Christo Joubert, and I’m incredibly honoured to step into the role of Resort Manager at this truly special destination — a Resort that’s cherished by guests, supported by devoted shareholders, and powered by an exceptional Team.
A little about me — I bring with me a background in hospitality management and a deep passion for delivering unforgettable guest experiences. I believe in the power of a strong, motivated Team and in running seamless operations that allow our guests to relax and enjoy every moment of their stay. Thank you for the warm welcome I’ve received so far. I look forward to meeting more of you soon and working together to ensure Mount Amanzi continues to be a home away from home — and a Resort we’re all fortunate to be part of.

Festive Season Joy
Christmas and New Year at the Resort were amazing! Guests received handcrafted chocolate gifts, and Santa made spirits bright with goodie bags for the children. Our Christmas lunch buffet was a feast to remember - from pickled fish and creamy turkey to decadent chocolate mousse and baked cheesecake. We ended 2024 in style at Nes Lapa, with live music, crackling fires, and complimentary sides - a celebration to cherish!

Valentine's Romance
Valentine’s Day swept in with Parisian charm under the theme “A Day in Paris.” Couples enjoyed thoughtful gifts, a candlelit dinner, riverside strolls, and the highlight, a magical movie under the stars. It was the perfect setting to celebrate love in every way.

Easter Fun & Festivities
Easter brought joy and colour, with our playful mascots leading the celebrations. Kids got crafty with bunny ear making and Easter egg painting, while an exciting treasure hunt kept little adventurers busy. Selfies with the mascots and lots of laughter made it a weekend full of happy memories.

Celebrating Mothers
Mother’s Day was a special occasion at Mount Amanzi, where moms were truly celebrated. Thoughtful décor set a beautiful tone, while sweet treats and heartfelt touches made every moment feel extra special. With love in the air and smiles all around, it was a day to honour the amazing women who mean so much.

Autumn I Do's
Two beautiful autumn weddings graced our Resort, with guest counts of 30 and 65. The smaller gathering was catered by our commercial team, while an external caterer served the larger event. Both housekeeping and maintenance teams pitched in with décor, helping to create unforgettable moments for the happy couples.

Micro Weddings on the Rise
From January to April 2025, wedding season blossomed and our Micro Weddings are taking off in style! Notably, the Stanton Wedding at The River Lapa was a highlight, with breathtaking river views providing the perfect romantic backdrop.

Business Conference
We hosted an 80-person, 3-day business conference at our conference centre. The event included daily breakfasts and wrapped up with a festive farewell braai on the final evening.

Orbit College Year-End Function
In December 2024, we had the honour of hosting all Orbit College branches for their year-end celebration. A total of 480 guests joined us on 5 December. A grand marquee tent was set up on the soccer field, and all our Managers jumped in to assist with breakfast and lunch, ensuring a seamless and memorable event.
