Christmas 2022 was without a doubt the most wonderful time of the year at Mabalingwe! We placed Christmas crackers in our guests’ units as a warm welcome gift. On Christmas Day, Santa, Mrs. Klaus, and their merry elves paid the Resort a visit spreading joy and warm wishes to all as they went from unit to unit, delivering gifts with the assistance of our Resort staff. The incredible Le Fera Team also hosted an irresistible lunch buffet at Vulture's View Restaurant - a feast for both the eyes and the taste buds!

To kick off the New Year's celebration, our guests checking in were welcomed with a complimentary bag of firewood, ensuring that every unit would have a fire burning to see the new year in. The Le Fera Team treated guests to a breakfast buffet on New Year’s Day because a good year begins with a good breakfast!

Our staff team is filled with hopeless romantics so whenever there is an opportunity to celebrate love they are always going to show up and show out! We made sure to amp up the vibes on Valentine’s Day, this year, and we gifted each guest with a hand-painted photo frame, a perfect keepsake to capture and preserve the wonderful times spent at the Resort for years to come. Following the theme of “capturing” special moments, we held a raffle where one lucky couple won a free photoshoot With Cupid's guidance, Mr and Mrs Deetlefs were selected as the lucky winners. Keeping the romantic mood going, the Le Fera Restaurant treated our guests to a stunning three-course dinner that set the stage for an evening of love and indulgence.

The Easter bunny hopped into Mabalingwe, bringing with it an abundance of joy, laughter, and excitement for both young and old. It made its way from one end of the Resort to another, leaving a trail of smiles in its wake. From warmly welcoming guests at the Resort entrance and handing out sweet and chocolatey treats at the Reception to dancing at Kalahari Oasis and entertaining everyone at the Recreational area, this Bunny made sure to add a touch of its Easter magic to every moment. And what would Easter be without some hot cross buns? Each family checking in received a special pack of these classic Easter eats and some delicious carrot cake to enjoy. Meanwhile, Le Fera Restaurant embraced the holiday celebrations with a special Easter Sunday lunch with a crowd-pleasing menu of some classic roasts with all the trimmings, followed by a decadent dessert.

This year’s Mother’s Day celebrations were a truly indulgent affair. The Reception was beautifully decorated and ready for our guests. Upon their arrival, the mothers visiting us for the weekend were greeted with Wedgewood Nougat Bonbonniere as a warm welcome gift. On Mother’s Day, the Le Fera Restaurant curated a delectable three-course set menu, exclusively crafted to honour and celebrate our incredible moms.
